Cobblemon Origins Store: Privacy
This page explains what data is collected when you buy from the Cobblemon Origins Store, who holds it and why.
Tebex (payments)
Tebex is the merchant of record and processes every payment. When you check out, Tebex collects the data it needs to take payment, prevent fraud and meet tax law, such as your name, email address, billing country, IP address and payment details. Tebex handles that data under its own privacy policy, shown at checkout. The server team never sees your full card or bank details.
From Tebex, the server team can see your Minecraft username, the packages you bought, the price paid, the transaction id and the purchase date, in the Tebex panel.
The server (delivery)
To deliver purchases and handle chargebacks, the server stores:
- your Minecraft username and UUID;
- a ledger of each delivery: Tebex transaction id, product, quantity, time and delivery status;
- serial numbers of items and Pokémon handed out by the store and crates, with the player they were issued to, used to detect duplication;
- your locker balances (keys, tokens, boosts) and any store ban.
This data stays on the server's own storage. It is not sold or shared with anyone except as needed to answer a payment dispute with Tebex or when the law requires it.
How long
Ledger and serial records are kept while the server runs, because they prove what was delivered and protect against duplication and chargeback fraud. Where the law gives you the right, you can ask the server staff for a copy of your records or to have them removed; records needed to handle an open payment dispute are kept until it is closed.
Contact
Contact the server staff in game or on the server's Discord. For data Tebex holds, contact Tebex through the link in your receipt email.
